Worms

Worm infestation can affect production in both quantity & size of eggs, loss of body weight & lowering of the immune system of the birds. There are four main types of worm, but many lesser known types & they can all be reduced by adding Avian Worming Remedy to the drinking water. There is no withdrawal period for eggs or meat when using Bioenergetic remedies, therefore it can be used at any time.

Dosage 40ml per 1,000 birds for 15 days, repeat at 8 week intervals.

Red Mite Control

Red mites (Dermanyssus gallinae) are a common blood sucking parasite, which irritate most types of bird. They can cause anaemia, decreased performance & sometimes even mortality. A safe, effective alternative to using pesticides & toxins, is to use our Red Mite Remedy. It can be used after clean down, along with Avian Health. If an outbreak occurs, we would ask you to send in a sample of your particular Red mite, so we can make a ‘Mite Specific' remedy that is unique to your flock.

Although the Red mites cannot be eliminated completely, they are deterred from ingesting a blood meal, & therefore remain dormant & do not breed. This results in the flock being more settled, stress reduced & productivity & health improve.
